worthless POV
[edit]might be, perhapps just oriental nights... without certainty it remains just POV --2A02:810D:4640:2238:C9B:EE5B:3E4:EB83 (talk) 16:25, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
Polish interpretation
[edit]Recently I came across a source (Boyle,1971's translation of the Jāmiʿ al-tawārīkh) which cites Bretschneider,1888 and Pelliot, 1950's interpretations of Ïla'ut as the poles, Bzrndm(usually rendered Bezerenbam) as a corruption of Bolesław and Myšlaw(usually rendered as Mișelav) as a corruption of Mieczysław. Also noted is Minorsky,1952 who sees it as a corruption of Szászváros(Today Orăștie)
Now, I'm not sure when or even if the consensus on the identities of these two 12th century leaders changed, as these sources are quite old, but they surely deserve a mention in the article text, no? 84.117.0.87 (talk) 10:43, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
